SAR Professional Development Opportunities

Are you ready to help shape the future while elevating your career?

The Siskiyou Association of Realtors (SAR) Board of Directors is on the lookout for passionate individuals to help direct policy, vote on essential issues, and enjoy learning opportunities galore—all while becoming a better Realtor.

Board membership requires attendance at monthly Board meetings, quarterly Membership meetings, and at any ad hoc meetings as deemed needed by the President.  The Board meetings are generally for two hours, once a month, on the third Wednesday of each month.  Membership meetings are also approximately two hours long.

Elections are held annually each fall. Requests for candidates are announced a month before the election.

Qualifications for a director position are that SAR is his/her primary Association and is in good standing with the Association, NAR, and CAR.

Executive positions require that he/she has served on the Board of Directors for at least two years within the past five years prior to the executive office position.

Executive Positions

  • President
  • President-Elect
  • Treasurer/Secretary

Director Positions

  • Two-year Director, second year
  • Two-year Director, first year
  • One-year Director

It’s a fantastic way to get involved, network with industry leaders, and make your voice heard.

Without an ongoing, active Board, we cannot maintain an independent Association. That means we need a regular influx of new Directors to join at entry level who may be willing to rise the ranks into executive levels.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to shape our Association’s future, expand your knowledge, and enhance your career. If you have any questions about the time commitments or responsibilities, contact the Association Executive.

If you have any questions about the time commitments, etc., feel free to contact any of the current Board of Directors and/or the Association Executive.

Together, we will accomplish amazing things!

Best regards,
The Siskiyou Association Board of Directors
