National Association of Realtor’s Code of Ethics is recognized by practitioners, lawyers and real estate agents as the highest measure of professionalism in Real Estate. NAR updates the precepts of the Code of Ethics to ensure the public of a high standard of business conduct, to which REALTORS® aspire. NAR provides a framework for State Associations to resolve disputes, with guidelines provided in the Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual. Hearings are held by the Association to resolve disputes between Realtors and the public. Both filing processes resolve the complaint in an expedient and non-costly manner.
